The Croc's tummy. All smooth and basicly done except for white paint.

Tail finally strong enough-a couple coats of bondo should take out some wrinkles.

I almost wish I hadn't decided to paint these all stark white. The bumps on the croc's back look really good in native fiberglass resin colors.

Paully still leaking.

A fish hammock to give me access to his tummy without breaking the fins.
med | big | huge |
The 'walking' fins look good, but are not very strongly attached.

Croc's toes after glass cloth and resin.

One foot yet to do.

Added glass cloth and resin...

..and then more bondo/resin.

Tongue in place and wooden teeth screwed in place.

The cardboard tube covered in various layers of resin and paper mache to give the impression of bark.

Positioning glass cloth.

Tree nearly done. Need to get it done before I can continue on the Orang.
med | big | huge |
White tummy. may need a touchup on the playa, but this side is basicly done.
med | big | huge |
Toungue lifted up to complete the lower gums and interior of mouth.
med | big | huge |
A toothy grin.

Reinforcing the top of the tree trunk: positioning the glass cloth.

More filing to smooth out the skin.

Time to fix a nagging problem. I don't like the shape of the lower body of the orang. It is supposed to show a tight squat, but looks more like a peanut. Using a saw I cut into the body and used cardboard and tape to emphasize the calves and made the feet look a little more attached to the rest of the body.
med | big | huge |
It isn't anatomicly realistic, but the new knees should make it more reasonable looking. Oh-note that the Orang took a dive off his tree and smashed up his face a bit. No biggie-I know how to fix it!

Final bondo coat for the dog. Some light sanding before fur!
med | big | huge |
Neighbor Matt stops by to help file out the rough spots on Paully's legs.
med | big | huge |
Fish on a turntable. Last bondo coat applied. Light sanding and engraving a scale pattern left to do.
